Freelance/Network Cabling Engineer

Hiring: Structured Cabling / Network Infrastructure Engineer – Dhaka, BangladeshWe are looking for an experienced Structured Cabling Engineer / Network Infrastructure Engineer to support an onsite cabling survey and infrastructure assessment for a client site in Dhaka, Bangladesh.📍 Location: Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh📅 Engagement: Contract / Site Activity Availability required: 2 Week days Key Responsibilities:Conduct a detailed site survey and assess cabling requirements.Define cabling specifications from Access Point → Patch Port → Patch Panel → Switch Port.Identify existing cables below CAT6 specification and document their exact lengths.Map all Wireless Access Points (APs) and network/data room positions on the floor plan.Identify whether each AP requires ceiling or wall mounting.Assess existing equipment racks and provide high-resolution photographs.Identify ceiling materials such as gypsum board, acoustic tiles, hardwood, etc.Determine whether AP repositioning requires new cable installation or cable extension.Assess whether existing AP brackets can be reused or if new brackets are required.Recommend the appropriate AP mounting/bracket solution, including iron rod requirements where applicable.Prepare a detailed survey report, cable routing recommendations, material requirements, estimated quantities, and Bill of Materials (BoM).
