Freelance Personal Trainer – Commission BasedLocation: Yas Acres Country Club, Yas Island, Abu DhabiEmployment Type: Freelance / Commission-BasedRole Status: Non-Permanent / ContractualCommission Structure: 50% – 50% for the first 6 months, subject to performance reviewAbout the OpportunityWe are looking for a motivated, professional, and client-focused Freelance Personal Trainer to join our fitness team at Yas Acres Country Club.This is an opportunity for an experienced Personal Trainer who is capable of building their own client base, delivering high-quality personal training sessions, and actively contributing to the growth of the gym's personal training business.The successful candidate should have a strong professional presence, an existing social media following/network, and the ability to attract and retain clients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct professional one-to-one personal training sessions for members and clients.Assess clients' fitness levels, goals, and requirements and develop appropriate training programmes.Deliver safe, effective, and engaging training sessions.Monitor client progress and make appropriate adjustments to training programmes.Build strong and professional relationships with gym and country club members.Proactively generate new personal training leads and convert them into clients.Utilise personal social media platforms to promote fitness services and generate leads.Leverage existing personal and professional networks to grow the client base.Encourage and support existing country club members to utilise the gym and personal training services.Maintain a high standard of professionalism, client service, hygiene, and safety.Work collaboratively with the gym/club management team to support membership engagement and retention.Maintain accurate records of client sessions and progress where required.Comply with all club policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.Candidate RequirementsMandatoryCurrent REPs UAE registration – Category A (Personal Trainer).Valid and current CPR / First Aid Certificate.Recognised Personal Training qualification, preferably Level 3 or equivalent.Valid UAE residency/visa status.Candidate must hold one of the following:Valid freelance visa/work permit; orSpouse-sponsored visa; orFamily-sponsored visa.Must be eligible to obtain the required work permit/approval to provide personal training services at the club.Previous experience working as a Personal Trainer is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Professional appearance and attitude.Ability to work independently and build a personal client portfolio.REPs UAE confirms that Category A Personal Trainers require a recognised personal training qualification, current First Aid/CPR certification and appropriate registration documentation.Social Media & Business DevelopmentThe ideal candidate should have an active social media presence and be comfortable promoting their personal training services through platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or other relevant channels.We are particularly interested in candidates who:Already have an established fitness-related social media presence.Have an existing network of fitness clients or potential clients.Can generate their own leads.Are confident in personal branding and content creation.Can attract new clients from their existing network while also servicing club members.Have a proven track record of client acquisition and retention.Client DevelopmentA key part of this freelance opportunity is the ability to build and grow a personal training client base.The trainer will have access to the club's environment and member community and will be expected to actively develop business through:Existing club members.Personal referrals.Social media.Professional and personal networks.New client acquisition.Member engagement and relationship building.The role is therefore particularly suitable for trainers who are entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and confident in generating their own business.Commission StructureFirst 6 Months: 50% / 50% Commission SplitFor the initial six-month period, personal training revenue will be shared on a 50% – 50% basis, subject to the agreed commercial terms and applicable policies of the club.Performance ReviewAt the completion of the first 6 months, performance will be formally reviewed.The review may consider:Number of active personal training clients.Number of sessions delivered.Revenue generated.Client retention.New client acquisition.Member engagement.Professional conduct.Social media/business development efforts.Overall contribution to the fitness operation.Based on performance, the commission structure and commercial arrangement may be reviewed and adjusted by management.Visa & Work PermitThis is a freelance, non-permanent opportunity.Candidates must have a valid visa arrangement that permits the necessary work authorisation, such as:Freelance visa/work permit;Spouse-sponsored visa;
