In addition, AIJRF works to enhance Dynamic Human Skills (DHS) for individuals, institutions, universities, and governments, aligning capabilities with future skills and Metaverse media requirements.Role Description The Freelance Researcher and Agentic Artificial Intelligence Trainer will support AIJRF’s projects by conducting structured research and training AI systems on topics related to AI journalism, Metaverse media, and emerging industrial technologies. This contract role involves collecting and analyzing data, preparing research summaries, and contributing to reports and educational materials. The role also includes designing and refining AI training datasets, validating AI outputs, and collaborating with subject-matter experts to improve agentic AI models used in media, education, and governance applications. The position is hybrid, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work from home to accommodate project needs.Qualifications Strong research and analytical abilities, including experience in academic or applied research in media, artificial intelligence, or related fields.Knowledge of AI concepts, agentic AI systems, machine learning basics, and their applications in journalism, Metaverse media, or digital content industries.Ability to design, curate, and evaluate AI training data, and to assess AI performance for accuracy, bias, and relevance.Familiarity with digital media ecosystems, emerging technologies of the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions, and trends in AI-driven content.Excellent written communication skills for preparing research summaries, reports, and training documentation in clear, structured English.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently under contract and meet project deadlines in a hybrid environment.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., media studies, communication, data science, computer science, sociology, or related disciplines) preferred.Previous experience in AI training, data annotation, or think tank/academic research is an advantage; familiarity with the UAE and regional context is beneficial.
