Freelance Speech Therapist at Home

POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a part-time (2hours a week, flexible schedule) qualified Speech & Language Therapist to provide in-home therapy services for a 3-year-old child in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Dubai. The primary objective is to support the child's linguistic, cognitive, and communication development through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. LOCATION & WORK ARRANGEMENT Location: Private residence, Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Dubai, UAE Service Type: In-home therapy Session Duration: 45-60 minutes per session REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology/Speech & Language Therapy Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric speech-language therapy) Valid work visa/permit for the UAE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct comprehensive initial speech and language assessment Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plan Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions focused on communication development Monitor and document progress toward established goals Provide family education and home-based activity recommendations Prepare monthly progress reports Collaborate with family and other professionals (if needed) ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES Strong clinical expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt therapeutic approach to family's cultural context Flexibility with scheduling (late afternoon or Saturday sessions acceptable) Professional conduct, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS Employment status: Independent contractor or employee (to be determined) Current work visa/residency permit in UAE Compensation: Competitive rate negotiable based on experience and qualificationsLocation: Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), DubaiStart Date: First week of September, 2hours a week for 6 months
