Freelance Technical Director- Events

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Technical Director to lead the technical delivery of a high-profile ceremony taking place in Dubai this November.Key responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and delivery across structures, power, LED, audio, lighting, and show control
• Oversee custom kinetic and mechanical elements—from engineering review through live operation
• Manage suppliers, technical budgets, schedules, permits, and HSE requirements
• Develop contingency plans for all critical show elements and lead technical rehearsals

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical direction experience on large-scale live events in the UAE or GCC
• Proven experience delivering government or official ceremonies
• Strong expertise in automation, LED, show control, and temporary power
