By focusing on workforce development in the banking and finance sector, AFTI supports organizations in building resilient, future-ready teams that can navigate ongoing industry transformation.Role Description The Freelance Trainer GRC will design and deliver Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) training programs for banking and finance professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing course materials, case studies, and practical exercises; facilitating interactive workshops and classroom sessions; and adapting content to different learner levels and organizational needs. The trainer will collaborate with AFTI’s team to align curricula with current regulatory frameworks, industry best practices, and emerging risk trends, while collecting feedback to continuously improve program effectiveness. This is a full-time on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, requiring regular presence at client locations and AFTI training venues.QualificationsStrong expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance within banking and finance, including knowledge of regulatory frameworks, risk management practices, and compliance processes.Proven training and facilitation skills, with experience designing curricula, developing learning materials, and delivering instructor-led workshops to diverse audiences.Ability to translate complex financial, technological, and regulatory concepts into clear, practical content and engaging learning experiences.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong command of written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Law, Risk Management, or a related field; professional certifications in GRC, compliance, or risk (e.g., CRMA, CAMS, CRCMP) are highly beneficial.Comfort working on-site with clients in Dubai, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with corporate stakeholders and subject matter experts.
