FREIGHT & CUSTOMS COORDINATOR

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Freight & Customs Coordinator to join our team in the UAE.About the RoleThe successful candidate will manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations across Air, Sea, Road, and Courier shipments, with a strong focus on UAE Customs procedures, shipment coordination, documentation, cost control, and customer service.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate Air, Sea, Road, and Courier shipments from booking through final delivery.Manage UAE import/export customs clearance and related documentation.Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, AWBs, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Delivery Orders, and Customs Declarations.Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, warehouses, overseas agents, suppliers, and customers.Track shipment milestones and provide proactive status updates.Maintain accurate shipment records and update ERP/SAP/TMS systems.Calculate freight costs, verify invoices, and resolve billing discrepancies.Support freight quotations, RFQs/RFIs, carrier selection, and supplier performance.Handle shipment delays, cargo discrepancies, damages, claims, and other operational issues.Prepare operational, shipment, logistics cost, and KPI reports.Ensure compliance with UAE Customs requirements, company procedures, HSE standards, and customer requirements.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of freight forwarding/logistics experience in the UAE.Strong knowledge of Air, Sea, Road, Courier operations and UAE Customs procedures.Good understanding of import/export documentation and international shipping processes.Experience with ERP, SAP, TMS, or similar logistics systems is an advantage.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines effectively.Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary based on experience.Employment visa and medical insurance.Career growth opportunities.Professional and multicultural work environment.Equal Opportunity StatementInterested candidates are invited to send their updated CVs to: info.bme@brutex.comPlease mention “Freight & Customs Coordinator” in the email subject line.#Hiring #FreightCoordinator #CustomsCoordinator #FreightForwarding #LogisticsJobs #UAEJobs #SupplyChain #AirFreight #SeaFreight #RoadFreight #CustomsClearance
