Freight Operations Specialist

About the RoleCargosrate is looking for a Freight Operations Specialist to join our team in Riyadh.You will support customers throughout their day-to-day use of the platform, manage shipment requests and bookings, and coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to ensure smooth and accurate execution.The ideal candidate has strong freight operations experience, excellent communication skills, and a high level of ownership and attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesManage customer shipment requests and bookings through the platform.Support and guide customers on using Cargosrate effectively.Act as the main operational point of contact for assigned customer accounts.Follow up on bookings, shipment updates, amendments, and pending actions.Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, and logistics partners when required.Ensure shipment and booking information is accurate and up to date on the platform.Resolve operational issues and customer escalations in a timely manner.Share customer and operational feedback with internal Product and Technology teams.Requirements3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, air cargo, ocean freight, or a related field.Strong understanding of freight operations and shipment workflows.Experience dealing directly with customers and logistics partners.Strong communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.Good written and spoken Arabic and English.Must be based in Riyadh and available for full-time on-site work.Immediate availability is preferred.PreferredExperience with digital freight platforms, TMS systems, airline cargo portals, or shipping line platforms.Experience in air freight and/or ocean freight.Experience managing B2B customer accounts within logistics.We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, customer-focused, and able to take ownership of operational tasks from start to finish.
