Freight Operations Specialist

Applicants joining Vault Logistics can expect to work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes professionalism, efficiency, and customer-focused service.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate bookings with customers, carriers, airlines, agents, and internal teams.Prepare and verify Shipping Instructions, Master/House BLs, and AWBs.Manage FASAH, manifests, Delivery Orders, appointments, gate passes, and cargo release.Monitor customs clearance, delivery, container release, detention, demurrage, and empty returns.Track shipment milestones and proactively manage delays and exceptions.Validate operational costs against quotations and prepare complete billing files.Support Ocean and Air exports, container planning, and feeder-vessel operations.Systems & Reporting:Use freight forwarding systems and operational platforms effectively.Maintain CRM records for customer interactions, inquiries, follow-ups, and operational activities.Maintain accurate shipment records, milestones, costs, and operational reports.Good Microsoft Excel skills for operational tracking and reporting.Qualifications & Expertise:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Hands-on freight forwarding experience across Ocean, Air, and Road import/export operations.Strong knowledge of customs, shipping documentation, port, airport, terminal, and FASAH processes.Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and Saudi logistics platforms.Strong shipment and milestone management, including detention, demurrage, and empty returns.Strong coordination and communication skills with customers, carriers, airlines, agents, and internal teams.Good problem-solving, cost control, and billing coordination skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
