Freight Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Reviews maintenance plans to ensure safe, sufficient, and cost-effective strategy is in-place.Reviews, approves and support Asset Engineering in configuration changes of the systems.Systems knowledge in particular performance issues of emerging technical trends, reliability problems and safety risks.Works closely with other support managers to maintain key documentation along with engineering specifications, drawings, and vehicle configurations.Lead root cause analysis and technical investigations.Ensures adherence of all systems with the established SAR standards and best practices.Continues monitoring and reporting of RAMS of freight rolling stock to detect deviations and recommend actions that improves RAMS performance. Maintain and continually report freight rolling stock performance.Initiate and implement design modifications that targets the advancement of RAMS & life-expectancy of fleets in accordance with change management processes. Review and advise on safe measures to be taken when a maintenance deferral is requested. Maintain Assets Criticality Assessments of freight rolling stock.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or any related field.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceJob location:Nairiyah
