Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.Stocks, rotates and faces fresh produce products according to department procedure; trimming, washing, culling and crisping produce to ensure quality and freshness and limit shrinkProvides excellent customer service by greeting, assisting customers, taking special orders and responding to customer inquiries and complaintsReceives product deliveries, ensures order and invoice accuracy and notes discrepancies according to established departmental procedures to ensure freshness and qualityChecks to ensure that all floor sets, visual presentations, signage placement, etc. are faced and merchandised attractively as per quality standardsEnsures all items are rotated by first in first out (FIFO) standardsOrganizes and maintains back stock and warehouse storage according to department standardsCommunicates respectfully and effectively with customers on upcoming events, new merchandise and product replenishment to increase salesMaintains a safe and cleanly work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulationsCommunicates fresh produce needs, adjustments, and problems to the Market Manager promptly and efficientlyPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in a grocery setting preferredAbility to understand and implement written and verbal instructionsAbility to perform simple mathematical calculationsAbility to effectively multitask and organize workflowExcellent communication and customer service skillsJob RequirementsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in lengthAbility to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds in weightAbility to use hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder, label maker and cleaning suppliesAdditional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with matchFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyReferral bonus programand more!Compensation: Pay range is set from $16 - $18 an hourEataly is an equal employment opportunity employer.
