We Hear You Audiology is seeking a motivated and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone entering our facility. We are a constantly growing and improving, we need someone willing to not just accept change, but to promote those changes.Will need to have strong skills in multitasking, a strong work ethic, high energy, friendly, dependable, takes initiative, willing to learn, self-motivated, and have a strong eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Customer Service:Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Pleasantly answer phones and/or direct patients and others to the appropriate area or person.Front office duties include:Assist patients checking in and out for appointments according to company policy and procedures, ensuring all required documents are accurate and complete. Assist clients with completing necessary paperwork.Efficiently schedule patient appointments for both new and existing patients, provide necessary information about appointments and services.Handle phone calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.Manage appointment calendars efficiently.Coordinate with the Audiologist to ensure smooth scheduling and minimize wait times.Administrative Support:Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, faxing or scanning.Maintain organized and tidy office.Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries.Collect payments as needed from patients.Communication:Relay messages and information between clients and staff.Keep clients informed about any delays or changes in appointments.Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive work environment.Problem Resolution:Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.Collaborate with the management team to escalate and resolve more complex problems.Patient Records:Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in maintaining patient records.Accurately register patients and create patient accounts within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.Perform routine administrative duties in a timely manner such preparing patient charts/documents, insurance verifications, authorizations, data entry and collection of payments.Complete opening/closing duties and other duties as assigned.Demonstrate amazing Customer Service and maintain confidentiality, financial privacy and HIPAA Compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.MS Office, basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry) and basic math skills.Adobe, basic skills to edit documents.Excellent telephone etiquette, pleasant personality and amazing customer service skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to include verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with others.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of medical terminology or experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour (Pay will be based on experience.
