This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and answering questions about hotel services and local attractions. Daily tasks include handling phone calls, making and modifying reservations, processing payments, and maintaining accurate guest records. The Front Desk Representative assists with guest concerns, coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance, and ensures the lobby and front desk area remain clean and organized. The role requires consistent professional communication, adherence to hotel policies, and a commitment to delivering friendly, efficient service during all shifts.QualificationsStrong customer service skills, including the ability to handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and courteously.Proficient phone etiquette and receptionist duties, such as answering calls promptly, directing inquiries, and managing front desk operations.Experience with reservations and basic front office procedures, including booking rooms, updating stays, and processing payments accurately.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact clearly with guests and team members.Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel or point-of-sale systems are beneficial.Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior hospitality or front desk experience is an advantage.Reliable attendance, professional appearance, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all guests.
