Front End Developer - E-Trading (ReactJS, & Node.js)

Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented and motivated Front-End Developer to join our E-Trading application development team. This is a hands-on role focused on building and enhancing Web UI modules for our in-house FX Ecommerce platform.You will work closely with back-end developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, user-friendly interfaces that support the Technology function in the bank.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, and Node.jsCollaborate closely with back-end developers to implement seamless client-server API interactions on the Web UIParticipate in peer code and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverablesWork alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to translate requirements into functional featuresHandle code deployments, releases, and other operational tasks on a rotational basis, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement of the build and deployment processesOptionally, present system demos to business users to showcase features and gather feedbackKey RequirementsStrong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly ReactJSFamiliarity with agent-based coding assistant tools is a plusExperience or familiarity with RESTful API development using Java or similar frameworks is a plusComfortable using tools such as Bitbucket (Git), Jira, and ConfluenceUnderstanding of UI component libraries and design systems like Material UI and Ant DesignKnowledge of Node.js, npm, Webpack, Vite and other front-end build toolsAbility to adapt to evolving requirements and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environmentFinancial domain experience is optional, but a strong willingness to learn is essential
