Location: Manchester and other UK hubs | HybridContract | Inside IR35 | £330–£485 per dayWe’re recruiting Front End Developers for several public-sector digital programmes.

These opportunities suit developers who enjoy building accessible, well-tested services using TypeScript, JavaScript and Node.js.Available assignments£330 or £340 per day: Manchester, Newcastle or Leeds; 40% onsite working, with some travel once per sprint. BPSS required.£345 or £430 per day: regional UK hubs outside London; aim of 60% onsite, potentially negotiable, plus monthly travel. Active SC preferred, or high confidence of SC eligibility.£485 per day: Manchester, Leeds or London; travel depends on the team. Active SC preferred, or high confidence of SC eligibility. Strong Nunjucks experience required.What you’ll doDevelop and improve user-facing functionality using JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js.Work with designers and engineers to turn user needs into accessible digital services.Integrate interfaces with APIs and supporting systems.Write automated tests, review code and contribute to reliable releases through CI/CD.Share engineering knowledge and contribute to technical decisions.What we’re looking forStrong hands-on JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js experience, with evidence of delivering production services.Depending on the assignment, relevant experience includes Express/Fastify, Nunjucks, HTML/CSS, GDS patterns, Jest/Mocha, Selenium/Playwright and cloud-hosted integrations.
