Front of House ManagerNewmark | Fitzroy Office, Mortimer Street, LondonFull-time | Office-based, 5 days per weekNewmark is looking for an exceptional Front of House Manager to lead the reception and front-of-house experience at our newly refurbished Fitzroy office on Mortimer Street, London.This is a highly visible and important role. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, colleagues and business partners, you will be responsible for creating a consistently outstanding experience that reflects the professionalism, quality and values of the Newmark brand.We are looking for someone who understands that exceptional front of house is about much more than greeting visitors. It is about anticipating needs, creating a welcoming environment, managing every interaction with confidence and professionalism, and ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.You will be a key member of the wider Facilities team and will play an important role in the successful day-to-day operation of the office. You will lead by example, develop the front-of-house team and ensure that processes, procedures and service standards are consistently followed.About YouYou will be an experienced hospitality or front-of-house professional who has worked to the highest standards of service and is confident operating in a premium corporate environment.You will be polished, professional and personable, with the confidence and experience to manage a busy front-of-house operation while remaining calm, welcoming and solutions-focused.We are looking for someone who:Has significant experience in high-end hospitality, front of house, guest services or a premium corporate environment.Has proven management and team leadership experience.Understands what exceptional customer service looks like and is passionate about delivering it consistently.Is confident managing a busy reception and handling a wide range of visitor, client and colleague queries.Is highly professional, personable and able to represent the Newmark brand with confidence.Leads by example and sets a consistently high standard for the wider team.Has the confidence to address issues quickly and appropriately and ensure standards do not slip.Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Is comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders, clients and high-profile visitors.Understands the importance of following established processes and procedures while using good judgement when dealing with individual situations.Enjoys developing and coaching team members and helping others deliver to their full potential.Takes ownership and pride in the presentation, professionalism and smooth running of the front-of-house environment.Is comfortable working as part of a wider Facilities team and collaborating with colleagues and service partners.Is committed to being office-based five days a week, recognising the importance of a strong and consistent physical presence at reception.Key ResponsibilitiesFront of House LeadershipTake overall responsibility for the day-to-day front-of-house operation.Ensure every visitor receives a warm, professional and memorable welcome.Act as the face of Newmark at the Fitzroy office and consistently represent our brand and values.Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, service and professionalism across the reception area and wider front-of-house experience.Ensure the reception operates smoothly, efficiently and professionally throughout the day.Anticipate the needs of clients, visitors and colleagues and proactively resolve issues wherever possible.Team Management & DevelopmentLead, motivate and develop front-of-house team members.Set clear expectations and ensure consistently high standards of performance.Coach team members through regular feedback, support and development.Lead by example and demonstrate the behaviours and service standards expected of the team.Identify opportunities to improve the team's performance, confidence and capability.Manage issues and performance concerns appropriately and professionally.Client & Visitor ExperienceWelcome and assist clients, visitors and colleagues with warmth, discretion and professionalism.Manage visitor queries and requests efficiently and effectively.Ensure VIPs, senior stakeholders and important visitors receive an exceptional level of service.Build positive relationships with colleagues, clients and key stakeholders.Handle challenging or unexpected situations calmly and professionally.Standards, Processes & ProceduresEnsure all front-of-house processes and procedures are understood and consistently followed.Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, organisation and professionalism.Monitor service levels and identify areas where improvements can be made.Take ownership of front-of-house issues and ensure they are resolved appropriately.Work closely with the wider Facilities team to ensure a seamless experience across the office.Why This Role MattersThe Fitzroy office is a key part of Newmark's London presence, and the Front of House Manager will play a critical role in how our people, clients and visitors experience Newmark every day.This is an opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to take ownership of a highly visible operation, develop a team and help create a front-of-house experience that reflects the standards and reputation of a leading global business.We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in exceptional service, leads from the front and understands that every interaction matters.Location & Working Pattern
