The hotel emphasizes high standards of service, comfort, and hospitality for both event organizers and individual guests.Role Description The Front Office Guest Services Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Kiranshree Grand in Guwahati. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, and providing clear information about rooms, amenities, and event facilities. Daily tasks include handling reservations, answering phone and in-person inquiries, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and resolving guest issues promptly and professionally. The associate will process payments, maintain accurate records, and ensure the front desk area remains organized, presentable, and aligned with the hotel’s service standards. This position also supports event-related guest needs, such as room blocks and special requests, to help deliver a seamless stay experience.Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate courteously and clearly with diverse guests.Proficiency in basic computer operations and front office systems; experience with hotel reservation or property management software is an advantage.Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a calm and professional approach to handling guest concerns.Fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is beneficial.Prior experience in hospitality, front office operations, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or service-related training is an added advantage.
