The Lodge At Vail is part of a larger resort portfolio, providing opportunities for professional development and collaboration within a respected hospitality brand.Role Description The Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Lodge At Vail in Vail, CO. This role oversees daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes, accurate reservations management, and effective handling of guest inquiries. The Front Office Manager leads and supports front office team members, including scheduling, training, and performance coordination to maintain high service standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring lobby and front desk activity, resolving guest concerns, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and maintaining front office procedures and reporting. The role also involves optimizing guest satisfaction, enforcing company policies, and contributing to a positive, hospitality-focused work environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front Office and Office Administration skills to manage daily operations, staff coordination, and front desk procedures.Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to respond to guest needs, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high service standards.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and other departments clearly and professionally.Experience in hospitality or hotel front office management, including supervisory responsibilities, is highly beneficial.Proficiency with property management systems, basic office software, and reservation platforms is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Vail, CO, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and guest safety.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality management or related fields is a plus.
