Team members join a culture centered on hospitality, service excellence, and creating a welcoming environment for guests.Role Description The Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at westdrift Manhattan Beach in Manhattan Beach, CA. This role oversees daily front office operations, including managing the front desk team, coordinating guest arrivals and departures, and ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes. The manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of guest service, resolving guest concerns, and supporting a seamless experience across reservations, room assignments, and billing. Day-to-day duties also include monitoring lobby appearance, collaborating with housekeeping and other departments, training and scheduling front office staff, and enforcing hotel policies and procedures. The Front Office Manager contributes to operational efficiency, supports revenue and occupancy goals, and helps uphold the hotel’s brand standards and guest satisfaction targets.Qualifications Strong front office and customer service skills, with experience overseeing guest-facing operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.Proficiency in office administration and organizational practices to manage schedules, reports, and daily workflow.Excellent communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional interpersonal skills.Experience in hospitality or hotel front office management, including familiarity with property management systems and reservation processes.Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and support a diverse front office team.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail, with a commitment to inclusive and respectful guest and team interactions.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience in hotel front office management strongly considered.
