Come and be part of our dynamic team and experience immerse growth and career opportunities with us.Front Office SupervisorSummary of ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Assist guests with check in and checkout, and other cashiering dutiesCapable of defining, coordinating and managing a service delivery system utilizing resources, tools, data and service standardsEnsure all guest relation services, behavioral and technical are maintained in accordance with the hotel standards and in line with hotel's strategic planMaintain visible image of management at all times. Provide management presence by coaching employees in handling feedbackProvide a warm welcome to guests on arrival and register them as well as issuing room keys by using the appropriate standardsEfficient in assisting guests throughout their stay with any requirements, handling guest feedback, provide direction and give suggestionsHandle guests’ mails, messages, and answering phone callsMaximizing room revenue by up-selling to a higher rate category and selling the highest possible rates for walk-in guestsComply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all timesMaintains the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed to anybodyMeet, greet and provide rooming for VIP guestsPerform any related duties and special projects as requested by the Front Office Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager/Reception and Duty ManagerAttend daily briefings and relevant departmental meetingsQualifications:Minimum 2 years hotel front office experienceKnowledge of Opera system and other related sub-systems interfaced to the PABX and/or the hotel’s computer systemMinimum GCE “A” Level or equivalentRead, write, speak English fluentlyComputer Knowledge, i.e. well versed with windows, internet explorer and wordTechnical Knowledge in Front Office OperationsBasic Supervisory Skills, verbal and written skills planning, decision making, training and developmentAble to work in a team, i.e. caring about other team members and open towards other nationalitiesDetail-oriented, organized and very flexible with working extended hoursAble to work under pressure and independentlyEnergetic with positive attitudeGood interpersonal and communication skills
