As a Frontend & Mobile Engineer, you'll play a key role in building the bank's customer-facing digital experiences, including mobile applications, web banking platforms, and AI-powered conversational interfaces. Working alongside Product, Design, Backend, and AI Engineering teams, you'll help create intuitive, secure, and scalable customer journeys from day one. Responsibilities• Develop and maintain mobile and web applications using modern frontend and mobile technologies. • Build customer-facing experiences including mobile banking, web banking, and AI-powered conversational interfaces. • Develop reusable UI components and contribute to a scalable design system. • Collaborate with backend and AI teams to integrate APIs, real-time services, and conversational experiences. • Implement automated testing, performance monitoring, telemetry, and release best practices. • Ensure security, accessibility, and localisation standards are embedded into every customer journey. Requirements• 6+ years of hands-on frontend and mobile engineering experience, ideally within banking, fintech, or large-scale consumer products. • Experience building and releasing customer-facing mobile applications through the full app-store lifecycle. • Strong experience with technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, React, and TypeScript. • Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, testing frameworks, and release management. • Experience building real-time, streaming, or conversational customer experiences. • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and modern software delivery practices.
