Location: WORK FROM HOME (MUMBAI)Experience: 1+ yearsOpenings: MultipleStipend: 10KABOUT SECONDZSecondz is building software that automates complex business workflows by reading documents and producing accurate, reliable outputs.The product works with real-world RFQs, Excel files, PDFs, scanned documents and business workflows such as quoting, OA/PO verification and covering letter generation.We are a small, fast-moving product team looking for frontend developers to build polished, reliable interfaces for our live product.ABOUT THE ROLEYou will build and own frontend features used by real customers.You will work closely with the backend and product teams to turn complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces.You will be involved across the complete development cycle:

• UI design implementation
• Development
• API integration
• Testing
• Performance optimisation
• Deployment
• MaintenanceWHAT YOU'LL DO
• Build responsive and production-ready web applications.
• Develop frontend features using React.js and Next.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable UI components.
• Integrate REST APIs and handle loading, error and empty states properly.
• Build interfaces for document upload and processing workflows.
• Handle Excel, PDF and document-processing workflows from the frontend.
• Build dashboards, tables, forms and data-heavy interfaces.
• Implement file upload, validation, progress and processing-status experiences.
• Work with authentication, protected routes and role-based access.
• Manage frontend state efficiently.
• Build responsive interfaces that work across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Handle complex forms and user input validation.
• Work closely with backend developers to define and consume APIs.
• Debug production issues and investigate problems using actual user flows and data.
• Write clean, maintainable and reusable code.
• Write unit and integration tests where required.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering quality.
• Optimise frontend performance, bundle size and API usage.
• Ensure accessibility, usability and consistent UI behaviour.REQUIRED SKILLS
• 1+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Strong experience with Next.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience building responsive web applications.
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of asynchronous JavaScript and API state handling.
• Experience with frontend state management.
• Experience with form handling and validation.
• Strong understanding of reusable component architecture.
• Experience with Git, pull requests and code reviews.
• Good understanding of browser behaviour, HTTP and web fundamentals.
• Ability to debug frontend issues systematically.
• Strong attention to UI details and edge cases.
• Ability to work with real-world data instead of assuming ideal inputs.GOOD TO HAVE
• Tailwind CSS.
• Shadcn/ui or similar component libraries.
• Experience with file upload systems and large files.
• Experience displaying and working with PDFs or document previews.
• WebSockets or Server-Sent Events for real-time processing updates.
• Authentication using JWT/OAuth.
• Role-based access control.
• Experience with dashboards and data-heavy applications.
