The company’s mission is to lower the barrier to enterprise-grade trust, enabling teams to move through audits faster, build customer confidence earlier, and scale securely.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Frontend Developer role based in Chennai. The Frontend Developer will design, implement, and maintain user-facing features for LowerPlane’s web application, focusing on performant, accessible, and responsive interfaces. Daily responsibilities include translating product requirements and UX designs into clean, maintainable code, collaborating with backend and product teams, and improving application usability and reliability. The role involves optimizing frontend performance, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and contributing to component libraries and reusable UI patterns. The developer will also participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting issues, and continuously refining the interface based on user feedback and product goals.QualificationsStrong Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills, with experience building modern, user-friendly web interfaces.Solid Web Development and Software Development fundamentals, including familiarity with version control, testing, and debugging practices.Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts to collaborate effectively with backend engineers and integrate APIs.Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) and HTML5/CSS3.Experience with performance optimization, accessibility best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, product-focused environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in SaaS products, security or compliance tools, or B2B software is a plus.
