Frontend Developer

About the Role GlowBug Technologies is seeking a talented Frontend Developer to design and develop modern, responsive, and user-centric web applications and digital products. The ideal candidate will possess strong frontend development expertise while being proficient in working with Laravel-based applications and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services. The selected candidate will play a key role in the development and enhancement of enterprise-grade digital products as part of a fast-paced, collaborative engineering team.You will collaborate closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, product engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications using modern web technologies.Key Responsibilities Develop responsive, intuitive, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies. Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, and maintainable code. Develop reusable frontend components and user interfaces. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services, including Laravel-based applications. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Troubleshoot, debug, and participate in code reviews to continuously improve frontend performance and user experience. Use Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and similar AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and refactoring.·      Review and validate all AI-generated code for quality, security, and accuracy.Collaborate with backend developers, product teams, and designers throughout the software development lifecycle. Follow secure coding standards, development best practices, and version control workflows. Required SkillsStrong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Angular. Proficiency in working with Laravel applications, including Blade templates, API integration, authentication flows, and frontend-backend integration. Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility. Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, responsive design, and accessibility.Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, AJAX, and asynchronous programming techniques. Familiarity with Git, npm, Vite/Webpack, and modern frontend build tools. Effective and responsible use of Claude, Cursor, or comparable AI development tools.Understanding of frontend performance optimization, UI/UX best practices, and secure coding principles. Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 4–5 years of professional frontend development experience. Experience with Livewire, Inertia.js, PHP, and Laravel architecture.Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, and OWASP practices.Portfolio, GitHub profile, or relevant project examples.Proven experience developing enterprise web applications or digital products. Passion for creating exceptional user experiences using modern frontend technologies.
