Guided by the mission “a roof over every head,” MAHTO strives to help people own their homes and to raise global living standards by becoming the operating system for the home building industry.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Frontend Developer role based in Bangalore Urban. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for implementing user-facing features, building responsive and accessible interfaces, and integrating front-end components with backend services. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into intuitive, performant web applications. The developer will maintain and improve existing codebases, optimize applications for speed and scalability, and ensure consistent visual design and user experience across the MAHTO ecosystem.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including building interactive user interfaces and implementing Responsive Web Design.Candidates should possess Web Development and Back-End Web Development skills to collaborate effectively across the stack and integrate APIs and services.Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including writing clean, maintainable code, using version control, and following best practices.Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (such as React, Vue, or Angular) and core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).Experience with UI/UX collaboration, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.Ability to work on-site in Bangalore Urban, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in building scalable platforms or marketplaces is a plus, as is familiarity with the construction, real estate, or fintech domains.
