Frontend Engineer - Contract- 12 months- Insurance- 2k5$

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain modern web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js.Build reusable and scalable UI components using React Hooks and state management.Develop responsive, accessible and user-friendly interfaces across different devices and screen sizes.Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL and REST APIs.Implement OAuth authentication and web security best practices.Optimise web performance, page load times and overall frontend application efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues across development and production environments.Implement frontend monitoring and observability to ensure application reliability.Collaborate with backend engineers, product teams and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and frontend engineering best practices.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.RequirementsStrong commercial experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js.Strong understanding of React Hooks and state management.Solid HTML/CSS and responsive UI development skills.Experience integrating with GraphQL and REST APIs.Good understanding of web performance optimisation and frontend best practices.Experience implementing OAuth and web security.Experience with micro-frontend architecture.Hands-on experience with frontend observability/monitoring tools such as Sentry or Datadog.Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and development practices.Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and product teams.Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers is a plus.Insurance industry experience is preferred.Argyll Scott Asia is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
