Frontend Engineer – SDE-3About the Role.We are looking for a Frontend Engineer – SDE-3 who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance, and customer-facing web applications. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of frontend features, contribute to architectural decisions, and help deliver seamless user experiences at scale.Key Responsibilities.Design and develop scalable, reusable, and high-performance frontend applications using React.js.Own frontend modules and features end-to-end, from requirement analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Build reusable UI components and contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions.Work extensively with JavaScript (ES6+), React, Redux, and modern frontend technologies.Integrate multiple backend services and REST APIs to build seamless customer-facing experiences.Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to translate business requirements into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, UI issues, and complex technical challenges.Write clean, maintainable, scalable, testable, and well-documented code.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to peers.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering practices and development standards.Drive frontend best practices across performance, scalability, accessibility, security, and maintainability.Participate in technical discussions and contribute to system and frontend architecture decisions.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features within defined timelines.Must-Have Qualifications & Skills.6–8 years of experience in frontend/web development.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend development.Strong hands-on experience with React.js.Good experience with Redux or other state-management solutions.Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.Experience with modern styling technologies such as SASS/SCSS, Tailwind CSS, or CSS-in-JS.Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and frontend-backend integration.Experience with frontend performance optimization, profiling, and debugging.Good understanding of Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to independently own, break down, and deliver complex frontend features.Good to Have.Experience building high-traffic, customer-facing B2C applications.Experience working on hybrid applications or mobile-web experiences.Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar tools.Understanding of microservices and distributed systems from a frontend integration perspective.Experience in e-commerce, health-tech, fintech, food-tech, quick-commerce, or other consumer internet products.What We're Looking For.Strong ownership and accountability for deliverables.Ability to independently break down complex problems and propose effective, scalable solutions.Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.An engineering mindset focused on scalability, reliability, performance, and user experience.Ability to mentor and support junior engineers and raise the overall technical bar of the team.Passion for building products that have a direct and measurable impact on customers.Role Impact.As an SDE-3, you will be expected to go beyond feature development by driving technical excellence, influencing frontend architecture, solving complex engineering problems, and enabling other engineers to succeed.
