U.S. Secret clearance required or eligibility to obtain.This is an opportunity to build sophisticated software used in operational environments where performance, reliability, and ease of use are critical. You’ll develop interactive, data-rich applications that help users visualize complex information, monitor real-time activity, collaborate, prioritize alerts, and make informed decisions.This is more than traditional web development. You’ll have meaningful ownership of projects from understanding the user need and designing a solution through development, deployment, and ongoing improvement.What You'll DoBuild sophisticated frontend applications and workflows using React, TypeScript, and JavaScriptDevelop interactive data visualizations, geospatial experiences, and real-time collaborative featuresCreate intuitive user interfaces for complex, data-heavy workflowsTake ownership of features from initial concept and prototyping through production and long-term maintenanceWork across frontend applications, APIs, data schemas, and supporting systemsSolve challenging problems involving application performance, user experience, rendering, and system designCollaborate closely with users, designers, backend engineers, and other technical teamsWork directly with users to understand operational needs and translate them into effective software solutionsWhat We're Looking For2–5 years of frontend or full-stack software engineering experienceStrong professional experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScriptExperience building complex frontend applications, rather than primarily marketing websites or basic CRUD applicationsDemonstrated experience taking meaningful software features from concept through productionStrong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, performance, and systems designBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldU.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearanceCurrently located in the Washington, D.C. areaAbility and willingness to work onsite 4–5 days per weekPreferred QualificationsExperience in any of the following areas is a plus:Defense, government, or national security technologyGeospatial or mapping applicationsData visualizationReal-time software or collaborative applicationsMission-critical softwareHigh-growth technology companies or startupsOpen-source software contributionsHackathons or substantial technical side projectsExperience working directly with end users to develop software solutionsWhat You'll Get$135,000–$200,000 base salary, depending on experienceEquity compensationComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefitsThe opportunity to build software with a direct impact on national security missionsSignificant ownership over products and features throughout the entire development lifecycleThe opportunity to work alongside highly talented engineers and technical teams Why Work with Fuze HR?At Fuze HR, we connect talented professionals with some of the top companies in the U.S. We offer weekly pay via direct deposit, a supportive office team, and a genuine commitment to your success.If this sounds like the opportunity for you, we’d love to hear from you!Apply online today!Fuze HR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
