Frontend Engineer — AI Product PlatformCompensation: $150,000 – $200,000 base + competitive equityLocation: Open to relocationVisa Sponsorship: AvailableRelocation Assistance: AvailableTalent Stack LLC is partnering with an early-stage AI product company hiring a Frontend Engineer to help build polished, user-facing applications at the intersection of modern frontend engineering, product design, and AI-powered workflows.This is a high-ownership role for someone who cares deeply about product quality, UI/UX details, frontend architecture, and building software that feels intuitive, fast, and well-crafted.About the Role:You will help build and scale modern frontend applications using SvelteKit, React, Vue, or similar frameworks. This role requires strong TypeScript skills, product intuition, and the ability to own features from design collaboration through deployment.The ideal candidate has recent startup experience, strong visual/UI sensibility, and examples of polished user-facing work through a portfolio, GitHub, shipped products, or live applications.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain modern frontend applications using SvelteKit, React, Vue, or similar frameworksOwn frontend architecture decisions, scalable component design, and frontend best practicesWrite clean, type-safe TypeScript across UI components, application logic, and API integrationsPartner closely with product, design, research, and GTM teams to translate user needs into polished product experiencesOwn frontend features end-to-end, from design collaboration through implementation, testing, and deploymentBuild reusable components, frontend patterns, and design system foundations that scale with the teamIntegrate commercial and custom-built AI models into intuitive user workflowsMake independent UX decisions and tradeoffs with a strong focus on usability, performance, and product qualityContinuously improve frontend performance, interaction quality, and overall user experienceRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree from a strong Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical program requiredMaster’s degree preferredCoding bootcamps are not accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree2+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, excluding internshipsProfessional experience building modern web applications in a startup environmentStrong experience with React, Vue, Svelte, SvelteKit, or similar modern frontend frameworksStrong TypeScript experience across frontend development and API integrationsDemonstrated ability to build polished, user-facing product experiencesStrong UI/UX sensibility with attention to visual detail, interaction quality, and usabilityExperience owning features or projects end-to-endExperience working with design systems, reusable components, and scalable frontend architectureStrong product intuition and comfort making UX tradeoffs independentlyPortfolio, GitHub, shipped product examples, or live application examples strongly encouragedStrong Candidates May Also HaveExperience building or integrating AI/ML-powered product featuresExperience with Tailwind CSS or utility-first styling frameworksFamiliarity with Bun or other modern JavaScript runtimesExperience with frontend performance optimization, bundle analysis, and application scalabilityExposure to Kubernetes-based infrastructureExperience working in early-stage or high-growth startup environmentsWhat We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who combines frontend engineering strength with product taste.
