The FSR provides welcoming, professional service to members by opening and maintaining accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, and assisting with loan and credit applications. This role involves explaining SFCU products and services, answering member questions, and identifying opportunities to improve members’ financial well-being. The FSR handles routine transactions accurately, resolves member issues promptly, and follows all compliance, security, and regulatory procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining detailed records, working collaboratively with branch team members, and contributing to a positive, inclusive branch environment.Qualifications Ability to deliver excellent member service, including active listening, clear communication, and a solutions-focused approach.Strong cash-handling accuracy, attention to detail, and comfort working with financial transactions and account documentation.Proficiency with computers, digital banking platforms, and basic office software for data entry and recordkeeping.Knowledge of or interest in learning credit union products, consumer banking, and basic lending principles.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing branch needs and priorities.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.Previous experience in banking, customer service, or retail is preferred but not required.Commitment to ethical behavior, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
