Full-Stack / Backend Engineer – SaaS Development | UAE

Role DescriptionA Full-Stack / Backend Engineer – SaaS Development is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving scalable SaaS applications and backend services. The role works closely with product, frontend, QA, and engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and improve SaaS applications and backend services.Build scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.Develop RESTful APIs, integrations, and backend services.Design and maintain databases, data models, and application logic.Support frontend development and system integration where required.Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Integrate third-party services, APIs, and cloud platforms.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.Support software deployments, releases, and production environments.Monitor application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.Maintain technical documentation and development records.Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams.Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions.Complete development tasks, milestones, and project deliverables on schedule.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant experience in full-stack, backend, SaaS, or software development.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies.Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js, Express, Django, FastAPI, or Spring.Familiarity with React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar frontend technologies is advantageous.Strong knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or related databases.Experience with REST APIs, integrations, authentication, and application architecture.Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and modern development practices.Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.Understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization.Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently on project-based tasks and meet deadlines.UAE/GCC technology or SaaS experience is advantageous.Professional, reliable, organized, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
