Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Java Software Developer with 4-5 years of experience to join our engineering team and work on scalable, distributed systems. The role involves building and maintaining backend services using Java 11+, working with Apache Spark, Kafka, and Apache Camel, and collaborating closely with frontend teams using Angular. The applications are deployed on AWS, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. This role is primarily backend-focused with frontend collaboration using Angular.Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write clean, efficient, and reusable code Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologiesTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely mannerCollaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers to deliver featuresOptimize application performance, scalability, and reliability Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers when required Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards Design and develop distributed and data-intensive applications using Apache SparkRequirementsKey Skills Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns Experience with IDEs like Eclipse, VS Code Unit testing and test-driven development Sound Knowledge of software design patterns Working knowledge of No-SQL databases(MongoDb) Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork abilities Experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Familiarity with ORM frameworks Experience with version control systems such as Git Understanding of Agile / Scrum development methodologies Strong communication skills Experience with messaging systems (Apache Kafka) Frontend exposure (Angular, JavaScript) Experience with Apache Spark and distributed computing frameworks Exposure to AI-assisted development and data-driven systems; ability to leverage tools such as AWS Kiro or similar platforms to improve productivity and software quality Curiosity and openness to adopting emerging tools, frameworks, and AI-driven workflows as part of a modern software development lifecycleDesirable Skills Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) Experience with integration framework like Apache Camel Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, etc Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environmentsExperience: 4-5 yearsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
