Full Stack Developer - React.js & Node.js

Company: Patronus Marketing Management Pvt LtdLocation: MumbaiJob Type: Full-timeAbout the RolePatronus is looking for a talented and hands-on Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in React.js and Node.js to join our team.The ideal candidate should be capable of taking a website or web application from concept and design to a fully functional, production-ready product. You will be responsible for developing both the front end and back end, integrating APIs and databases, implementing authentication and security, and supporting deployment and maintenance.This is a hands-on role suited for a developer who can independently own and deliver complete web projects while also collaborating with design, product, and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesFront-End Development• Build modern, responsive, and high-performance websites and web applications using React.js.• Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, reusable, and responsive components.• Develop reusable component libraries and scalable front-end architecture.• Implement application state management using Redux, Context API, or similar technologies.• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.• Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and user experience.• Integrate third-party services and APIs.Back-End Development• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js.• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.• Develop business logic and server-side functionality.• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.• Integrate and manage databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.• Design efficient database structures, queries, and relationships.• Implement secure and reliable data handling practices.• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, communication services, and other APIs as required.Full-Stack & Deployment• Own the complete development lifecycle from frontend to backend and database.• Connect React applications with backend APIs and databases.• Configure and manage development, staging, and production environments.• Deploy applications using platforms such as AWS, Vercel, DigitalOcean, or similar services.• Work with Git/GitHub and follow proper version-control practices.• Identify and resolve performance, security, and technical issues.• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve live applications.• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready.Required Skills & Qualifications• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and preferably TypeScript.• Strong experience with Node.js and backend development.• Good understanding of Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and session-based authentication.• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.• Understanding of deployment, hosting, domains, SSL, environment variables, and basic server configuration.• Strong understanding of web security and common vulnerabilities.• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.• Good communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills• Experience with Next.js.• Experience with TypeScript.• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.• Experience with Docker.• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.• Experience with payment gateway integrations.• Experience with third-party authentication and social login.• Knowledge of SEO and web performance optimization.• Experience developing admin panels and dashboards.• Experience building SaaS platforms, e-commerce websites, or other complex web applications.• Familiarity with automated testing and testing frameworks.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a developer who can take complete ownership of web development projects.You should be comfortable receiving a requirement or design and independently handling:UI/UX Implementation → React Frontend → Backend → APIs → Database → Authentication → Third-Party Integrations → Deployment → MaintenanceYou should be someone who can think beyond simply writing code and understand how all parts of a modern web application work together.Experience: 2–5 years Candidates with a strong portfolio of live websites or web applications built end-to-end will be preferred.Why Join Patronus?• Opportunity to work on complete web products from concept to deployment.• High ownership and responsibility across the technology stack.• Opportunity to work with modern web technologies.• Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.• Opportunity to contribute to product and technical decisions.To Apply: Please share your resume on sanjeev@patronus.live along with links to relevant websites, web applications, GitHub repositories, or projects that you have built.
