Senior Full Stack Engineer | TypeScript | React | AWS | Postgres | Terraform | HealthTechSalary: £90,000 – £120,000Location: Waterloo, London (Hybrid, 3 days per week)Job Title: Senior Full Stack EngineerAbout the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a well-funded HealthTech company building a platform at the intersection of healthcare, insurance and data infrastructure using TypeScript, React & PostgresSQL.The business is developing technology that enables healthcare to automate complex workflows, improve operational efficiency and deliver better patient outcomes through modern software and intelligent data systems.While this is a full stack role, the focus is heavily weighted towards backend engineering (TypeScript), system design and cloud infrastructure, with ownership across the entire product lifecycle.You'll be joining a high-calibre engineering team, helping shape both the architecture and product as the company scales.What You'll Be DoingDesign, build and ship end-to-end features using TypeScript and ReactArchitect and develop scalable backend services, APIs and data pipelinesBuild cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Sercives (AWS)Design and optimise data models within PostgreSQLWork across the stack when needed, whilst spending the majority of your time on backend systems and architectureBuild secure, reliable systems handling sensitive healthcare dataCollaborate closely with product, design and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutionsInfluence technical direction and contribute to architectural decision-makingWhat We're Looking ForStrong commercial experience with TypeScript across both frontend and backend applicationsStrong experience with React and modern frontend developmentProven experience building scalable backend systems, APIs and distributed applicationsStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWSExperience with PostgreSQL, database design and optimisationExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as TerraformExcellent communication and collaboration skillsComfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownershipWhy Join?Build a platform from the ground upWork on technology transforming healthcare operations and patient experiencesSolve complex engineering challenges involving scale, automation and dataSignificant ownership and influence over product and technical directionJoin a highly ambitious, well-funded teamCompetitive compensation package (£90,000–£120,000)If you're a strong Full Stack Engineer with TypeScript who enjoys working across the stack but has a particular passion for backend engineering, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.
