Full Stack Engineer (Identity Security)📍 San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)💰 $180,000 – $220,000 base + equity + benefits🏢 Early-stage Identity Cybersecurity Start-upStealthWatch are partnered with a high-growth, Series A–funded cybersecurity company that is building a next-generation identity platform.The RoleWe’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale their core platform. You’ll work across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications to deliver secure, high-performance identity workflows.This is a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate closely with founding engineers and product leaders to shape both the product and engineering culture.What You’ll Be DoingBuild and scale core platform features across frontend and backend systemsDesign and implement secure APIs for identity, authentication, and authorization workflowsDevelop intuitive UI/UX for managing users, policies, and access controlsWork on real-time systems for identity threat detection and alertingCollaborate with security engineers to implement best practices (OAuth, SSO, RBAC, Zero Trust)Own features end-to-end — from design to productionImprove system performance, reliability, and scalability in a cloud-native environmentHelp define engineering standards, tooling, and architectureWhat We’re Looking For✅ Experience4–8+ years of full stack engineering experienceStartup or high-growth product environment strongly preferred✅ Technical SkillsFrontend: React, TypeScript (or similar modern frameworks)Backend: Node.js, Go, Python, or JavaAPI design: REST and/or GraphQLDatabases: PostgreSQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)Cloud: AWS, GCP, or AzureContainerization: Docker, Kubernetes (nice to have)✅ Security / Identity (Highly Valued)Experience with authentication and identity systemsKnowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, or SCIMUnderstanding of access control models (RBAC, ABAC)Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures✅ Ways of WorkingStrong product mindset and user empathyAbility to move quickly with high ownershipComfortable in ambiguity and early-stage environmentsNice to HaveExperience building developer platforms or APIsExposure to cybersecurity or identity threat detectionKnowledge of event-driven systems or streaming (Kafka, etc.)Contributions to open-source projects
