This approach gives individuals greater control over their healthcare decisions and supports more informed, personalised care experiences.Role Description: The Full Stack Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that power Essence Innovation’s health platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end interfaces, building and optimizing back-end services and APIs, integrating with databases and third-party systems, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability across the stack. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, debug and resolve production issues, and contribute to code reviews and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, requiring regular collaboration with the local team.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience delivering production-ready web applications.Solid skills in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, server-side frameworks, and database integration.Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimisation, and scalable system design.Comfort working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in the Mohali district, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English.Experience in healthtech, data privacy, or handling sensitive user information is an advantage.
