You will work with established platforms and infrastructure while helping to shape new solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver business value.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain full stack applications across front-end and back-end systemsBuild scalable software solutions using Java and Perl technologiesDevelop modern user interfaces using React and related front-end technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept through to productionUtilise AI-assisted development tools and practices throughout the software development lifecycleContribute to architecture discussions, technical design and code reviewsIntegrate new functionality with existing platforms and servicesTroubleshoot, optimise and enhance application performance and reliabilityWork independently on assigned projects while maintaining strong communication with stakeholdersSupport continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practicesDesired Skills and ExperienceStrong commercial experience as a Full Stack DeveloperProven expertise with Java developmentExperience working with Perl or willingness to learn and work within Perl-based environmentsStrong React development experience or experience with modern front-end frameworksExperience delivering end-to-end software development projectsKnowledge of AI-assisted software development tools and workflowsFamiliarity with code reviews, testing, CI/CD and modern engineering practicesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work independentlyExperience working within large-scale technology environments is advantageousExposure to distributed systems, APIs and platform integrations is beneficialSummary of the Best CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a mid-level to senior Full Stack Developer with at least five years of commercial software engineering experience.
