They are on a mission to power better lending with accurate, real-time credit information and analytics through modern, API-first solutions. They are now expanding their small, collaborative team and looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join them in London.About the Role:They are seeking a product-minded Full Stack Engineer to play a pivotal role in building and scaling their B2B SaaS experience for lender partners. This hybrid position requires a strong blend of frontend and backend expertise, with a practical 50/50 split focused on developing user interfaces with Svelte and robust backend services with Go. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives on ownership, possesses a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and enjoys collaborating closely within a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You will contribute directly to a platform that is transforming financial services at scale.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain highly performant B2B SaaS features using TypeScript and Svelte for the frontend.Design, build, and optimise scalable backend services using Go.Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical specifications.Take ownership of features from conception through to deployment and monitoring.Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions for evolving platform capabilities.Ensure code quality, testability, and maintainability through best practices.Actively participate in a small, cross-functional engineering team environment.Requirements:Strong commercial software engineering experience with TypeScript.Proficiency in Go, or a strong aptitude and eagerness to become productive quickly.Experience with a modern frontend framework like Svelte (or React/Vue with a willingness to learn Svelte).Demonstrated product mindset and a focus on user experience.Collaborative, communicative, and effective working with thin specifications.Enthusiasm for leveraging AI coding assistants and modern development tooling.Ability to work 2 days per week from the London office (typically Tuesday & Wednesday).Compensation and benefits:Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, flexible up to £75,000 for exceptional candidates.Significant ownership and impact within a rapidly growing fintech scale-up.Hybrid working model with 2 days in the London office.Opportunity to innovate in the UK credit data market with real-time solutions.Exposure to cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.Work within a collaborative and supportive small engineering team.Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
