Company Description Sirbal | سربال is a Saudi technology platform focused on simplifying compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) for organizations of all sizes. The platform supports clients in preparing Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), and conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA). Sirbal leverages AI-powered tools to streamline complex privacy workflows and reduce operational effort. Team members work at the intersection of data protection, compliance, and modern software development, contributing to a growing ecosystem for privacy-tech in the region.Role Description This is a part-time hybrid Full Stack Engineer role based in the Riyadh Region, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power Sirbal’s PDPL compliance tools, working across both front-end and back-end components. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure handling of user and organizational data. The role also involves collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements, reviewing code for quality and maintainability, and contributing to technical documentation and testing. Team members are expected to participate in regular stand-ups, provide feedback on architecture decisions, and help improve development processes.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience delivering production-ready web applications.Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database design and integration.Solid Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces.Understanding of secure coding practices, data protection principles, and interest in privacy, compliance, or regulatory technology.Experience working in cross-functional teams, with clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in hybrid work environments.Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
