Company Description MAHTO is building a unified operating system for home construction, integrating land, labor, materials, financing, and delivery into one platform. The MAHTO ecosystem includes marketplaces for homeowners, workers, contractors, and shops, as well as full-stack construction and renovation services, home loans, and property and travel listings. The company’s mission is to enable every person to have their own roof and to raise global living standards by becoming the operating system for the home-building industry.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Full Stack Engineer role based in Bangalore Urban. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across the MAHTO ecosystem, working on both front-end interfaces and back-end services. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, implementing responsive user experiences, building and integrating APIs, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability. The role also involves participating in code reviews, improving development workflows, and contributing to architectural decisions that support an integrated, end-to-end home-building platform.Qualifications Strong front-end development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).Proficiency in back-end web development, including building and maintaining APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.Hands-on experience with full-stack development, covering both client-side and server-side software development.Solid understanding of software development principles, including version control, testing, debugging, and deployment practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, or distributed systems is beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of end-to-end features.Interest in the housing, construction, or proptech domains and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
