Full Stack DeveloperLocation: Remote / On-Site UAEType: Full-timeABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our team, helping build and maintain internal tools, client-facing applications, and data-driven web solutions.You'll work closely with our analytics and data engineering team, contributing to everything from front-end interfaces to backend services and database integrations. You'll gain exposure to a range of client projects and data environments, with support from senior team members as you take on more ownership over time.WHAT YOU'LL WORK ONThe role spans the full development lifecycle, and you'll sit between the analytics team building the underlying data work and the applications that make it usable. Day to day, that means:Development - building and maintaining web applications (front end and back end) supporting internal tools and client deliverablesIntegration - developing and integrating APIs connecting applications to databases and third-party servicesCollaboration - working with the analytics team to turn data pipelines and models into usable, well-designed interfacesCode quality - writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code, and participating in code reviewsTroubleshooting - diagnosing and resolving bugs across the stackDelivery - working directly with clients on smaller projects as your scope growsSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSMust-have:2+ years of professional experience in full stack developmentSolid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (React preferred)Familiarity with backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)Basic understanding of SQL and relational databasesComfortable with Git and collaborative development workflowsStrong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learnComfortable working in a small-team environment with direct client exposureBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - or equivalent practical experienceNice to have:Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, or Power AutomateInterest in data engineering or analyticsExperience with Python for scripting/automationExperience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API designFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)Experience with containerization (Docker) and basic deployment workflowsFamiliarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar)Experience with authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth, JWT)Familiarity with serverless functions (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB) in addition to relationalUI/UX sensibility - comfortable translating designs (Figma) into responsive, accessible interfacesExperience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or similar)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practicesWHY JOIN FUNCTION GROUP ANALYTICS?Direct mentorship from senior analysts and leadershipExposure to real client work across industries, not just internal projectsA flat, low-bureaucracy environment where your input mattersOpportunity to grow into a broader analytics/engineering role as the firm scales
