Full Stack Engineer

Job DescriptionOmniVAI is an AI-native creative studio and SaaS company based in the UAE. We produce commercial work for regional and international brands, and we build the generative tools behind it. We’re now hiring engineers to take our products from prototype to production scale.What you’ll work on• Our generative platform — a multi-studio product (image, video, editing, brand, UGC, music video) powered by 150+ models through a unified gateway. Launching globally in 2027.• A second, unannounced product — an AI-native editing platform for filmmakers. Shipping as a web app first, then as a full installable desktop application for Mac and Windows. Details shared at interview stage.The core missionBoth products exist today as working prototypes. Your job is to take them to real production: re-architect what needs re-architecting, keep what works, and get us to a stable, scalable codebase we can ship globally — then package the desktop build. Roughly: your first months are architecture and migration; after that you’re building new product on top of it.What you’ll actually do• Migrate an existing React/Supabase prototype into a production architecture on AWS — proper environments, CI/CD, monitoring, error handling• Build and own features end-to-end: front end, backend services, database schema, APIs• Integrate and orchestrate AI model APIs — async jobs, queues, retries, fallbacks, cost tracking• Build and ship the desktop version of our editing platform (Electron or Tauri) — local file handling, offline-capable behaviour, auto-update and code signing across Mac and Windows• Build credit and billing flows with Stripe and keep usage accounting accurate to the centYou should have• 4+ years building and shipping full-stack web products• Strong React / TypeScript, plus Node (or Python) on the backend• Solid Postgres — Supabase experience is a big plus (RLS, edge functions, storage)• Proven experience taking a codebase from prototype to production — refactoring, not just greenfield• Real experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, long-running jobs and media pipelines• Git discipline and the ability to work without hand-holdingBonus points• Shipped a desktop app with Electron or Tauri• AI/LLM or media-generation APIs in production• AWS (ECS/Lambda, S3, CloudFront), Docker, CI/CD• FFmpeg, video/audio processing, or NLE / editing-tool experienceWhy joinYou’ll be one of the first engineers on funded products with paying clients already on the studio side and a global launch ahead.
