Full Stack Developer (Laravel + NestJS + Next.js)Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong backend development experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will specialize in building scalable and secure backend systems using Laravel and NestJS, while also contributing to modern frontend applications using Next.js.In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications, APIs, and business solutions. You will be responsible for creating robust backend architectures, integrating services, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable software solutions.The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of backend architecture, database design, API development, and modern web technologies, with the ability to contribute across the full development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development (Primary Focus)Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Laravel (PHP) and NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript).Build and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.Design efficient database structures, queries, and relationships using relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.Implement authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and security best practices.Integrate third-party APIs and external services into backend systems.Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability.Troubleshoot complex backend issues and improve existing systems.Frontend DevelopmentDevelop modern and responsive web applications using Next.js and React.js.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.Ensure responsive design, performance optimization, and clean frontend architecture.Software Engineering PracticesWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.Apply testing practices to ensure application quality and reliability.Use Git-based workflows for version control and team collaboration.Analyze technical challenges and provide effective solutions.Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and system improvements.Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.Support and share knowledge with other team members.Key QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).Minimum 2 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.Strong backend development experience with Laravel and Node.js ecosystems.Technical SkillsBackend (Required)Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel.Experience building applications using NestJS with TypeScript.Strong understanding of:REST API developmentBackend architectureDatabase designAuthentication and authorizationAPI security best practicesExperience with relational databases:MySQLPostgreSQLFamiliarity with caching and performance optimization concepts (Redis is a plus).FrontendExperience with Next.js and React.js.Good understanding of:JavaScript / TypeScriptHTML5CSS3Modern frontend development practicesExperience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs.Tools & PracticesStrong experience with Git and version control workflows.Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).Familiarity with deployment processes and cloud environments is a plus.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts.Attention to detail and commitment to writing quality code.Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications (Plus)Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of system design and scalable architecture.Experience working on SaaS platforms or enterprise applications.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
