Job Responsibilities

As our Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for building new features for our CirclesX Telco operating system, enhancing the existing ones as well as supporting them in production. You will also be responsible for building reusable libraries or technology platforms that address multiple use cases. You will work towards delivering specific milestones and objectives in a very dynamic environment You will be in charge of the following: Working closely with the Engineers to develop the best technical design, strategy and drive execution to build capabilities/ features into the platformActively contributing to high-quality production code for complex features, share components, or reusable libraries. Owning end-to-end technical and operational delivery for the assigned microservices within your purview , ensuring technical quality (e.g. through integration test and unit test coverage), security, availability and scalability, and that key milestones are met Establishing various best practices for software development and encouraging their adoption with the team and organizationCollaborating with other stakeholders of the business, including but not limited to Product Managers, Designers and Marketing, to understand and refine requirements Providing technical mentoring if needed to an excellent team of talented engineers and working with them to remove any roadblocks Functional availability of the software developed, enhancing the product based on functional requirements Managing cloud-based services, web applications for their functional correctness, availability, security Deploying and maintaining enterprise android and ios apps Owning the engineering excellence and operational readiness of the service driving the SLO,SLI, SLA of the relevant services Assist other Support Engineers on complex RCA issues Provide technical mentoring and guidance to other engineers Provide L3 engineering supportRequired Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. Around 5+ years of experience in software development and operating complex distributed systems Strong design and architectural experience in building various highly-scalable and highly-available products Strong understanding of the SDLC Activities which include Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Post-Production Support etc. Proficiency in React Native for Android and iOS development. Understanding of native Android (Java/Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) lifecycles. Proficiency in ReactJS for web development. Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles. Experience working on NoSQL & SQL Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL,MongoDB, Redis etc Deep Dive, problem-solving, RCA and systematic thinking to reach the cause of issues Able to work independently and multi-task effectively Program at a system level and able to manage service stability Excellent experience maintaining, scalable, extensible codeMethodical in maintaining up to date documentation Metric-driven mindset and obsessive about ensuring clean coding practicesPreferred experience in product development Preferred working experience on microservices platformsCommunicate fluently in English at work
