You will own complete workflows from design through deployment.What you will doFrontend Development
- Build responsive, accessible and production-grade interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Implement complex business workflows including forms, document uploads, approvals, dashboards and transaction journeys.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and handle loading, validation, errors and stale-data scenarios appropriately.
- Implement frontend role-based access and permission-aware user experiences. Backend Development
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot REST APIs for core business workflows.
- Design service-layer logic, validations, transaction processing and API integrations.
- Work with PostgreSQL/SQL databases, including queries, transactions and data modelling.
- Implement secure authentication, authorisation and server-side permission enforcement.
- Design APIs that are reliable, traceable and safe for retry scenarios. Full-Stack Ownership
- Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend and database layers.
- Translate product requirements into technical designs and production-ready implementations.
- Work closely with Product, UX, QA, Platform and Architecture teams.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues across frontend, backend, API and database layers.
- Support production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis and permanent fixes. Quality & Engineering Practices
- Write unit, integration and API tests.
- Contribute to automated browser/functional testing where appropriate.
- Handle failure scenarios, retries, validation errors and concurrency safely.
- Follow secure coding, Git, code-review and CI/CD practices.
- Maintain technical documentation for APIs and business workflows. What you bring
- Strong React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS skills, with production application experience.
- Practical experience building Java and Spring Boot APIs and working with SQL databases.
- Understanding of authentication, authorisation and secure handling of user data.
- Experience building business workflows with multiple user roles, forms and approvals.
- Ability to debug across frontend and backend, communicate clearly and own delivery.Experience with B2B products, financial applications, accessibility or automated browser testing is valuable. Good to Have
- Experience in FinTech, Banking, Payments, Lending or Financial Services.
- Experience with financial transaction or workflow platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automated browser testing such as Playwright/Cypress/Selenium.
- Experience with AWS/cloud environments.
- Understanding of observability, logging and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing or event-driven architectures.
