We focus on industries where data is highly sensitive and security, privacy, and control of intellectual property are critical.What You’ll Do* Build and own production software across frontend and backend* Design APIs, services, databases, and internal tools* Build systems for secure data ingestion, preparation, and ML workflows* Take products from concept through deployment and production* Build intuitive interfaces for complex, data-heavy workflows* Rapidly prototype and turn successful prototypes into production systems* Improve internal tooling and automation* Own performance, scalability, observability, and reliability* Maintain strong security standards across the application stack* Work directly with the founding teamStrong competency in Security * Authentication and authorization* Role-based access controls* Secure API design* Encryption and sensitive-data handling* Secrets and credential management* Secure software development* Dependency and vulnerability management* Logging, monitoring, and auditability* Secure cloud and infrastructure configurationsExperience with SOC 2, HIPAA, healthcare, biotech, financial services, or other highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.What We’re Looking For* 4–8 years of professional software engineering experience* Strong frontend and backend production experience* Ability to independently own complex projects end to end* Strong software architecture and system design fundamentals* Strong application security fundamentals* Experience building reliable, scalable production systems* Strong product judgment* Fast, self-directed, and highly accountable* High engineering standards without unnecessary processPreferred Experience* React / TypeScript* Python* PostgreSQL or similar relational databases* REST or GraphQL APIs* Cloud infrastructure and containers* AI/ML or data-intensive applications* Healthcare, biotech, or sensitive-data environments
