We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to join our team long term and work directly with the founder across our mobile product and backend infrastructure.This is a hands-on role with significant technical ownership. You’ll work within our existing production codebase, help strengthen and stabilize the platform, and build new consumer and venue-facing features as Spree grows.What you’ll work withReact Native / Expo — iOS & AndroidPHP / REST APIsPostgreSQLAWSIntegrations including Mapbox, Stripe and TwilioWe’re looking for someone genuinely strong across both frontend and backend development.On the frontend, you should be able to build polished, premium consumer mobile experiences—not simply functional screens. On the backend, you should be comfortable with APIs, relational databases, authentication, third-party integrations, cloud infrastructure, and production systems.What we're looking forStrong React Native or comparable mobile/frontend experienceStrong backend development experienceExperience working with REST APIs and relational databasesAbility to understand and improve an existing codebaseStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsAttention to UI detail and product qualityComfortable working independently and taking ownershipClear communication and sound technical judgmentExperience with AWS and production mobile applications is a plusThis is intended to be a long-term engineering role, not a short-term project. As an early engineering hire, you’ll have increasing responsibility for Spree’s technical development and engineering practices as the company grows.
