Full Stack Lead (Fintech/Financial Services)

Role Description:We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable web and mobile applications. The role will provide technical leadership across front-end and back-end development, mentor engineering teams, establish development best practices, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology solutions. Key Responsibilities:Technical LeadershipLead the architecture, design, and development of full-stack applications and platform services.Define technical standards, coding practices, and development frameworks across engineering teams.Review system architecture and code to ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.Drive technical decision-making and solution design for complex business requirements.Application DevelopmentDesign and develop front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, microservices, and integrations.Build secure, high-performance, and scalable applications supporting business growth.Ensure seamless integration between front-end, back-end, databases, and third-party systems.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and coach a team of full-stack developers.Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of engineering resources.Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and engineering excellence.Delivery & CollaborationWork closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and release management activities.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve technical challenges.Ensure adherence to Agile development methodologies and best practices.Quality, Security & OperationsImplement secure coding standards and application security best practices.Ensure comprehensive testing, quality assurance, and deployment processes.Support production releases, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident resolution.Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure management. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.7–10+ years of software development experience, including 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.Proven experience leading full-stack engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. Required Technical SkillsFront-EndReact.js, Angular, Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3Responsive and mobile-first developmentState management frameworks and component-based architectureBack-EndNode.js, Java, .NET, Python, or similar server-side technologiesRESTful APIs, GraphQL, Microservices ArchitectureAuthentication and authorization frameworksDatabasesPostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL ServerMongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databasesCloud & DevOpsAWS, Azure, or OCIDocker, KubernetesCI/CD pipelines and deployment automationGit, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket Preferred ExperienceExperience in FinTech, Banking, Payments, Trading Platforms, Financial Services, or SaaS environments.Exposure to cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.Experience building high-volume transaction processing systems.Familiarity with cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and data privacy requirements.
