Full Stack Software Engineer

At Hays, we are collaborating with a leading global pharmaceutical company operating in more than 130 countries focused on improving the health and quality of life of both people and animals through innovation, research, and technology.We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with solid experience across both frontend and backend development.Working closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations teams, you will contribute to building scalable and high-quality solutions while supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.Main Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications.• Contribute to the definition of software architectures and development best practices.• Develop and implement solutions across both frontend and backend environments.• Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and Operations teams.• Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and automation practices.• Support the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and technical standards.• Participate in the integration of services and the evolution of scalable architectures.Requirements• Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.• Strong knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.• Experience developing backend solutions using Python, Java, .NET, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.• Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, service integrations, and microservices architectures.• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.• Ability to work effectively within Agile environments and cross-functional teams.Nice to Have• Experience participating in large-scale digital transformation projects.• Knowledge of application security, observability, and performance optimization.• Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring other developers.• Fluent/Advanced level of English to collaborate within international environments.What We Offer• Permanent contract through Hays for a full-time, long-term project.• Opportunity to work with a Top global pharmaceutical company.• Flexible working model with one office day per week in Sant Cugat del Vallès.• Exposure to modern data stack and cloud technologies.• Collaborative, international environment with cross-functional teams.
