Full Time and Part Time Outreach Worker

Responsibilities Include:Work as part of the Street Outreach team to provide services for a diverse population in Central and Northern New Jersey targeting abused, neglected, runaway and homeless youth ages 13-24, including but not limited to the LGBTQI community, immigrant youth and youth at risk of being victims of human trafficking.Provide community outreach, including presentations to schools, faith-based organizations, local businesses, police departments, community agencies, etc.Coordination of sex education and/or HIV/AIDS prevention groups.Keep informed about services available to youth in New Jersey and nationwide.Participate in street outreach on-call rotation.Qualifications:High school diploma or G.E.D. and 3 years’ relevant experience.Alternatively, Associate Degree plus 1-year relevant experience or Bachelor’s in an applicable field.A Valid NJ driver’s license.Multilingual (English / Spanish, English/Creole) candidates preferred.CompensationThis is a Full-time & Part time, salary position range $37,000 - $43,000, flexibility for highly qualified candidatesEmail cover letter and resume to jobs@visionsandpathways.org Visions and Pathways is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We value the strength provided by a diversity of background and perspective.
